Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s help in reuniting recovered bicycles with their owners. The detachment is holding a black Talaria e-dirt bike and a black Kona Dew commuter bike, both recovered during investigations in Kelowna, British Columbia, and announced on September 1, 2026.
According to Kelowna RCMP, anyone who believes one of the bikes belongs to them and can provide proof of ownership is asked to contact police and quote the file number tied to that bicycle.

How the Talaria e-dirt bike was found
Police say staff at a retail store in the 2100-block of Baron Road reported finding the Talaria e-dirt bike on the property on July 30, 2026, after it had been left there overnight. Officers attended and seized the bike for safekeeping at the Kelowna RCMP Detachment.
How the Kona Dew bike was recovered
On August 18, 2026, Kelowna RCMP responded to a break and enter at a multi-family residential building. Police say investigators located the Kona Dew commuter bike after it was left behind by individuals allegedly involved in the offence. The release does not name any suspects.

The release encourages owners to record serial numbers and other unique identifying features of valuable property, photograph their bikes and keep proof of purchase.
